Office Offset - Covid Office Shed
Professor: Bill Massie - 2020
In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, this studio did a one-week exercise at the beginning of the semester to design a home office space. Then two of these shed designs were selected to be built. My preliminary design was one of two designs chosen to be made. The studio then collaborated to fabricate and further develop these designs to improve the initial ideas. The modeling and development of the design-build required a higher level of detailing and material application. This studio facilitated on-site innovation and construction techniques that helped improve students’ upstanding of the built environment.
